I'm a soon-to-be pastry chef struggling to find the balance between a healthy lifestyle and doing what I love. Baking and pastries are my passion, what I finally realize I was meant to do and that a pastry chef is what I am meant to be. I love to experiment with different flavors and textures, and there never seems to be a lack of people to be my guinea pigs :)
I'm married to a wonderful guy for going on 4 years. We have one fur-child, a Siberian Husky named Zoe. She's a rescue, skittish around new people, and spoiled as can be.
I graduate in Dec 2011 and we're planning on moving elsewhere so I can have more opportunities to become an accomplished pastry chef. The midwest isn't exactly booming in that area :) We don't know where life will take us, but it's sure to be an adventure.
